BIOGRAPHY
Carol studied painting and
drawing at the University of California in Los Angeles and at the California
Institute of the Arts.
She was an art director
for several major publishing houses in New York before she went to work
with fabrics to make
“soft sculptures” and “fabric
illustrations."
In 1988, she moved to a
small community in Maine and she has been working exclusively in watercolor
and gouache.
Her interests are primarly
in nature, animals, plants and sea life. She also enjoys illustrating children's
books.
Carol is still continuing
to work in graphic design and enjoys both illustration and graphic design.
In her spare time,Carol
works in her flower and vegetable garden and makes sushi for her family
and friends.
She is also involved in
community affairs.
